The NBC network will unveil a multi-platform approach for the 2018 Preakness Stakes this coming weekend. While continuing their ongoing tradition of splitting the broadcast across the NBC Sports Newtork (NBCSN) and their main NBC channel, they’re doing a ton of cross promotion that will be a delight for horse players and fans of Thoroughbred racing in what’s already stacking up to be a pivotal weekend.
Leading the way as always will be Bob Costas along with Mike Tirico. They will be joined by Randy Moss, Jerry Bailey and former Preakness winner Eddie Olcyk. Reporters Donna Brothers, Britney Eurton, Carolyn Manno, Laffit Pincay, Kenny Rice and Larry Collmus will also be bringing coverage from the Pimlico grounds.
The multi-platofrm angle for the 2018 Preakness Stakes comes in the form of the NBCSN App which is downloadable on smart devices. The benefit of watching this way is that viewers can be mobile. They will also gain access to exclusive interviews and be able to sift through highlights and race replays.
Also going online is the TwinSpire TV app that you can also download to your mobile device. Watch, wager and win with TwinSpires.com! TwinSpiresTV is also accessible via desktop here.
