Woodbine Mile Headlines All-Turf Pick 5 with Belmont Park

Woodbine Mile is Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series Race

Turf racing enthusiasts along with Pick 4 and Pick 5 bettors are looking forward to Saturday’s card at Woodbine and Belmont Park. Those two top tracks are partnering for a cross-country, multi-race All-Turf Pick 5. The $800,000 Ricoh Woodbine Mile (G1) headlines the event, and it’s also a ’Win and You’re In’ Breeders’ Cup Challenge race. The winner of the Woodbine Mile receives an automatic entry to the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Mile on the turf Nov. 4 at Del Mar.

The New York Racing Association joined with Woodbine to offer a big All-Turf Pick-5. Along with an allowance race at Belmont Park, a pair of Grade II races and two other Grade I races are part of the Pick 5 turf showcase. With Woodbine hosting the pool, the takeout rate is a low 15 percent, with a minimum wager of 20 cents allowed to bring bettors or all levels into the pool.
